　　这次田径运动会的项目有八百米跑步、两百米跑步、六十米跑步，还有搬砖过河、袋鼠跳。老师要求我们去操场上一个一个的项目去练习测试。先测试的是八百米跑步，先是让男生跑，因为我还没有掌握跑步的技巧，所以我一开始猛冲，最后一圈我累的半死不活，就没劲了，最后只能慢慢跑到终点，所以我得了最后几名。放学后，我把我跑八百米跑步的经历告诉了我的爸爸，爸爸听了后，就耐心的对我说：“你只要前三圈保持匀速的速度，到第四圈你猛冲，最后一定能拿前几名。”我听了后，半信半疑。

　　第二天，我就按照爸爸说的，在全班男生跑八百米的时候规规整整的按照爸爸的说法做了，结果跑到第三圈的时候，老师停了下来，就直接选人。因为老师看我会跑，所以我就被选上了八百米跑步。等放学以后，我就向爸爸妈妈报告这个好消息。而且还说了明天就要举行了。妈妈听了非常惊讶，连忙说道：“怎么能让咱娃跑这么长的长跑呢？”爸爸却说：“就让他去跑吧！让他展示展示自己的才能嘛！”妈妈听了爸爸的话，觉得有一点儿道理，也就同意我去参加了。

　　第三天，是我们正式田径运动会的日子。在我去学校的路上的时候，妈妈不停的鼓励我：“宝宝，你要努力哟！争取拿上名次。”我一直在回答：“知道啦！知道啦！”终于到了学校，我十分兴奋的跑进学校。我们早上吃完早饭，就去操场举行田径运动会了。上午给参加运动会的同学们加油鼓劲，下午的时候终于到了我的八百米跑步，我做准备的时候非常紧张，跑步开始了，我就尽力跑了起来。我专注地跑步，连我的朋友加油都没听见。跑到最后一圈时，有的小朋友坚持不下来，退出了比赛。此时我也跑得筋疲力尽了，但我想着体育的拼搏精神，一定要完成比赛，于是我咬紧牙关，继续奔驰。八百米跑步结束了，我成功完成了比赛。虽然这次没有拿上名次，但是我挑战了自我。我要努力锻炼，希望下次能得前几名。
