　　英语教学不仅是一个认识过程，而且也是一种情感活动过程。学生的学习情感调控的好，可以变被动学习为主动学习。首先要让学生在获得知识、解决问题的过程中亲身感受英语知识的广泛应用，以此激发学生的求知欲，让其产生肯定的学习情感，使他们认识到如果想拥有一个美好的未来，且能更好的胜任以后的工作，必须学习英语并且一定要学好英语。其次，教师要注重对学生的感情投入。通过日常教学中许多细微之处对学生科学引导、热情帮助，使学生切实感受到老师的爱心和对自己的关怀，时时刻刻感觉老师在关注自己，使之“亲其师，信其道”，这祥师生之间就会产生情感共鸣，学生对英语课就会产生强烈的兴趣.，由厌学转化为好学、爱学、乐学。最后，在教学过程中教师要注意批评的艺术和技巧，要维护学生的自尊心和个人尊严。在婉言中改正自己的错误。教师要特别注意遵循“表扬+帮助”的原则，避免“批评与训斥”。

　　二、运用电教手段，激发兴趣

　　学习语言最怕缺乏语言环境，课上没有英语气氛，会使具有好动、情感易变特性的学生感到枯燥乏味。运用多媒体，精心设计好每一堂课，把抽象的语言、单调的词汇、语段具体化、生动化、形象化，就会深刻地吸引学生的注意力，激发起学习情趣，迅速培养其学习兴趣，提高学英语的能动力。例如，在教学生认识学校功能室的对话时，用录像机先拍下学生在功能室活动的情景再出现英语标志牌，这样，学生们就有身临其境的感觉。在这样的情景中学习并操练，学生们感到生动有趣且记忆深刻。又如把词汇放到句子里，再运用投影把抽象的文字符号以各种绚丽多彩的画面呈现，动词以动作表现，名词以实物或静物画面表现，其它难以单独表示的就配以恰当的语言环境，或老师用手势、表情来辅助表现，这样就会把抽象的东西具体化、形象化，即可满足学生的好奇心、求知欲，也能全面调动学生看、听、说、想等多方面的积极性。

　　三、利用竞争比赛，培养兴趣

　　根据学生的心理特点制造一种积极的氛围，对学生的行为会起到强化定向作用，有利于充分发挥参与者的创造力和竞争力。如一面优胜小红花，一句“Excellent”等都会使学生感到愉悦和满足，在学会话时，我就告诉学生，在一段时间后，我们将采用竞赛的方式进行会话比赛，选出优胜小组进行奖励。这样就激励学生每一课的对话都应学好，方能取胜。在学字母时，又事先告诉学生，当字母学完后，将举行书写比赛。同学们在学写的过程中，非常认真，写时非常投入，以至于历次比赛中，我都比较发愁，简直不分高低，基本上个个做到书写规范、清楚认真，为今后的书写打下了良好的基础。在平时的作业中，我采用符号方式进行激励，但如果有些学生因某种原因没能在本子上被老师写上“gd”允许学生回去再重写，这次可以不算数，到最后我们还有一个看谁的“gd”多的比赛呢，这样谁都不甘落后。同时，组与组、班与班之间也有比赛，激发竞争意识，培养学习兴趣。

　　四、强化成功愉快，巩固兴趣

　　教学中要特别注重给学生成功感，因为“成功越大，兴趣越大，动力越大”。当学生在某一方面获得了一次成功后，即使他们的成功只不过写对了一个句子，学生也会感到高兴，继而对英语产生亲切之感，必反馈出巨大的内驱力，驱使他们向着第二次、第三次……的成功迈进，从而形成稳定而持久的兴趣。在教学过程中，教师要多创设竞争和成功的机会，让学生在竞争中体味到通过自己的努力取得成功的快乐。如讲完一课后，可设计几组综合训练题印发给学生，引导学生积极思维，知难而上，按照题目的“坡度”，让不同水平的学生都能“跳一跳够的着”。在几番周折和反复讨论中，使问题得到解决，使学生从中体验到成功的愉悦，感受到努力的价值。对中、差生要特别留意，耐心启发，对他们学习中每一点成绩都要及时地真诚地给予肯定和表扬，并且多给他们创造成功的机会，使他们在自己成功的愉快中，增强学习英语的自信心。

　　五、创设表现空间，拓展兴趣

　　愿意表现自己并希望得到认可，这是每个学生的心声。在日常的教学中，老师要尽可能多地给学生提供和创造表现自己的机会。课堂上的双边和多边活动，能使不同程度的学生都能积极参与课堂教学，那些知识运用灵活、反应比较快、口头表达能力强的学生会觉得特别“露脸”。课文的改编表演、课外活动中的短剧小品，让那些学习成绩虽不出类拔萃，但具有表演才能的学生获得了“最佳演员”的桂冠。那些有绘画才能的，在把课文改编成连环画的作业中大显身手，在帮助老师把课文变成投影片中，也淋漓尽致的表演了一番，在大大小小的各类竞赛中，那些表现出众者体验到了站到领奖台上的激动。而“再表现”的欲望，会激起他们的学习兴趣，会使他们在外语课上满怀兴趣，集中精力，课下又根据自己的爱好，翻阅英语课外书，拓宽自己的知识面。从而使学生各得其所，各展其长，达到健康发展个性的目的。

　　六、利用课外活动，延伸兴趣

　　创设丰富多彩的活动课，能激发学生的参与意识和自主能力，吸引学生的注意力，使他们在轻松愉快的环境中学到知识。例如：举办英语文娱晚会、故事会、知识竞赛、手抄报、演讲等课外活动，从报幕到解说，从评比到颁奖，一般不准使用汉语，尽可能让学生全部使用英语，这类活动为学生提供了说英语的真实场所，同学们表现出了高度的热情。另外，自编视听小品，根据课文内容，结合学生实际，每学期我都组织学生自编自导几个视听小品和对话录像。如：一个学生请同学们参加birthda part的对话、小品，几个同学购物的对话小品等，当同学们看到自己同学的表演之后，极大的调动了他们说英语的欲望，积极参与，重播时，我采取消声让同学们配音的办法，使他们在乐中学、做中学、动中学。学生听、说、读、写的能力会在这些实践活动中得到了提高。学生乐于学习、善于总结、不畏艰难、勇于探索的良好习惯也逐渐养成。
