Another one is the changes in life style. When food presents no worry to the average, people begin to focus more of interest on handsome appearance and happy leisure time . As a result of such a shift, spending on clothing and recreation increases year after year.

　　From the analyses made above, we may come to the conclusion that people's living standards have been constantly improved between 1995 and 1999. With the further growth in economy and more changes in life style, the tendency indicated in the table will continue in the better direction .

　　引言

　　目前很多高校的大学语文教学还未能将人文性、工具性和审美性很好地结合起来，往往更多停留在知识性讲解、工具性操作层面，对人文素性缺少应有的重视。造成这种现象的原因是十分复杂的，诸如普遍的“专业崇拜”心理导致高校重“专”轻“通”、重“器”轻“道”现象的影响，学生学习的实用主义，教师对大学语文重要性认识的偏差，网络传播环境改变了大学生接受信息和思考问题的方式，使得他们漠视经典文本阅读的重要性，等等。

　　一、实用主义和虚无主义的思潮

　　著名学者钱理群说：“我觉得我们中国的大学弥漫着两种可怕的思潮：实用主义和虚无主义的思潮所谓实用主义就是完全被个人利益所驱使，有用就干，无用不干。因此必然也走向虚无主义，就是除了时尚和利益之外一切都不可信，一切都不可靠，一切都可以放弃抛弃。实用主义和虚无主义就导致了大学的两个结果：一个是知识的实用化，一切与实用无关的知识都被大学所拒绝，既被大学里的老师所拒绝，也被大学里的学生所拒绝；二是精神的无操守，拒绝一切精神的追求和坚守。”浮躁的世风扰乱了大学校园的平静，也搅乱了教师授业和学生求学的定心。联系到大学语文，它原本就是一门公共类的文化素质课程，专职教授这门课程的教师很难做出科研成果，在核心刊物上发表文章也非常不易。加之国家这方面的科研立项很少，教师没有项目可作，评职称也就特别困难，从而使得这门课程以及讲授课程的教师越来越处于边缘化的境地，导致不少大学语文教师自己也对教授这门课程失去信心。表现在教学实践上，不能将主要精力放在教学当中，不去研究学生的心理，不从学生的实际出发进行有效教学，不能发挥课程应有的对学生的精神净化和陶冶作用，导致学生人文素养的缺乏。从学生角度来说，在经典解构、传统话语边缘化、商业文化所带来的多元文化语境中，大学生很容易产生浮躁和虚无的情绪。而且，随着社会就业压力的增大，也使他们产生了急功近利的心态，寄希望学业上的短期速成。“他们希望全面提升自己各方面的能力，又不愿意付出切实的努力；他们渴望自我塑造和自我实现，但是又缺乏应有的学习能力。”[2]若这时教师没有给予及时的引导，很容易导致起码的价值观的错位和人文素养的欠缺，从而变成机械的人、自利的人。

　　大学生人文素养的缺失还与社会及高校中存在的“专业崇拜”现象有关，近些年来，各高校为了提高就业率，特别重视对学生专业知识与技能的培养，以适应社会的需要，这无疑是必要的，但实际的更多情形是由此而忽视、轻视了学生综合素质的培养。“中国的教育培养的不是人，而是专业工具。如果这种专业万能的信念，创造了种种‘热门专业’的神话，严重扭曲了大学的精神，甚至在学生的实际生活中也误事。”[3]许多大学生迫于就业压力，在校期间忙于本专业知识的学习和英语等工具性学科的技能提高，很难将时间和精力放在大学语文等文化素质类课程的研修上。“‘专业崇拜’现象背后隐藏了急功近利、实用主义心理。从学校方面讲，这有悖于大学精神；从学生方面讲，则是成才理念有失偏颇。不可否认，就业很重要，上大学不考虑就业是做不到的也是不应该的，但狭隘的‘就业’、‘找工作’不是上大学的全部，而综合素质确实是根本。”在貌似“学以致用”实则功利主义的氛围里，大学生重感性轻理性，重物质轻精神，工具理性占据着他们的精神世界，而价值理性失去了应有的位置，导致人文素养的严重缺失。

　　网络文化对大学生的精神和生活也带来了很大的冲击。一方面，网络文化的自由性使得大学生可以随意地交流和便捷地获取自己需要的信息，也可以更自由地表达自己的思想和观念；另一方面，面对网络环境提供的纷繁复杂的信息，人生观、价值观尚未稳定的大学生很容易被色彩斑斓的图像和浅层感性文字所吸引，拒斥纯文本的阅读，经典文本更是被拒之门外。复旦大学做过一个调查：目前大学生阅读本专业经典著作的只有15.2%，阅读人文社会科学经典著作的有22.8%，阅读专业期刊的有9.3%。相较而言，美国的大学生经典著作的阅读量平均每周要超过500页，远远高于中国学生。网络上，包括经典文本在内的大量文学著作变成了“图说”形式，经典著作在中国大学生那里已经失去了往日的魅力。大学生们更愿意阅读那些一眼就能明了的浅显读物，而不愿意深入作品的内核，去领略和思考更深层的意义和美感，分析问题也只是就事论事，缺乏独立思考和判断能力。大学语文课程以讲解古今中外的经典篇目为主，让学生了解各个时期的不同民族的文化，但网络文化的泛滥使得学生阅读习惯发生变化，对经典名篇的学习只能停留在理解阅读上，而很少能够达到对作品的深度思考，更不用说精神领域的升华，从而导致大学生人文素养缺失和创新能力的萎缩。

　　二、大学语文需按照语文教育的一般规律来进行

　　大学语文课程作为“高等语文”，主要面向大学一年级学生，无疑有培养学生语言能力的任务；但是，大学生毕竟已有中小学语文学习的经历，在阅读理解语言文字的运用上已有相当的基础，没有必要再去重复中小学的语文教学路数。过于突出工具性。在技术理性盛行和中小学素质教育还难以落到实处的今天，大学生虽然仍需进一步提高母语应用能力，但更需要的是人文素养。而这又不是文学教师们对学生进行满腔热情的文学鉴赏能力和审美能力教育所能奏效的，因而用“大学文学”取代“大学语文”显然也过于狭隘。我们认为，通过阅读富有审美情趣和思想启迪的经典文本，既可以触动和激发学生潜在的人文关怀，从而获得人文营养，又可以提升他们的文学鉴赏能力和审美能力，还能“自然而然”地提高他们的语言能力。因此，一本选文精美、人文意蕴丰厚的大学语文教材，是人文熏陶的经典、审美教育的华章、语言训练的范本。在这个意义上，并非只有文学文本才具有审美的因子，半部论语也好，史家绝唱也罢，又有哪一点输给了文学？“上帝死了”的预言，“诗意栖居”的渴望，都充满了文学性，或者说其内涵之深刻、形式之规范、语言之纯粹，足可称语言文学的典范，基于此种理念，大学语文的理想模式应该是“人文―审美―工具”的三位一体，其中人文性是第一位的和根基性的。学生在掌握专业技能的同时，若能通过大学语文的学习，还能获得一种人文素养和情怀，那是我们的莫大欣慰，“专业成才，精神成人”，这是大学生全面发展的需要，也是我们培养人才的努力方向。

　　结束语

　　经过几千年文明积累起来的中西方文化中渗透着各自的民族个性，对本民族的灵魂的塑造起过重要的作用，每一个经典作品中都有着丰富的文化内涵，蕴含着极其深厚的人文精神。通过古今中外的经典作品的学习，可以使大学生了解到中国文化的博大精深和西方文化的源远流长，从而培养起积极进取、乐观向上的人格品质。大学语文教师通过阐释经典作品的思想内涵，挖掘其中蕴含的深厚的人文精神，来提升学生的文化底蕴，带领学生追求美好的理想，从而产生对自然、社会、人生的有益启示。
